Numpad typing test and 10-key practice

The numeric keypad is the fastest way to enter numbers, and many accounting, banking and data entry jobs test it. Klava measures your speed in keystrokes per hour (KPH), the unit used in 10-key tests, as well as in words per minute.

Levels

  1. 4 5 6 — the home row of the keypad, index finger on 4 and the bump on 5.
  2. Adds 7 8 9.
  3. Adds 1 2 3 and 0 — all digits.
  4. Adds the decimal point.
  5. Adds + − * / with short calculations.
  6. Real numbers: amounts, prices and figures as in real work.

Tips

Keep your right hand on 4 5 6, use the thumb for 0 and the little finger for Enter and +. Turn Num Lock on. No numpad on your laptop? Switch to the number row option and practise the digits above the letters.
