Word Rain is a classic falling words typing game. Words drop from the top of the screen and you clear them by typing. Let three words reach the ground and the game ends. Press space above to start.
Points are letters × 10 × level, so long words at high levels are worth the most. Clear the lowest word first, but don't panic-switch between words: finishing what you started is faster than jumping around. Keep your eyes on the words, not on the keyboard. That habit is exactly what touch typing is about.
Word Rain trains reading ahead and quick decisions, two skills that a plain typing test does not. Players who use it as a daily warm-up usually notice fewer pauses between words in normal typing. After the game the result shows your speed in words per minute and your accuracy.
