Hindi typing test (InScript)

InScript is the standard Hindi layout on Indian keyboards and is used in many government typing tests. Vowels and vowel signs (matras) are on the left hand, consonants on the right. Conjunct letters are typed with the halant key between two consonants.

Tips

Type in the order you pronounce: consonant first, then the vowel sign.
Learn the halant key early: it is in many common words.
